WTNH– Rev Meg Williams, Minister of Music at Stratford United Methodist Church, and Rev Jeff Lukens, Pastor, Lordship Community Church, talk about helping others in need and provide accolades to worthy charitable initiatives within Connecticut like the Lord’s Kitchen.

This month, the focus is on the Lord’s Kitchen, a cooperative effort of the Stratford Clergy Association, which provides free meals twice a week for those alone and in need.

Volunteers from 10 area churches rotate preparing and hosting the meals: Christ Episcopal Church of Stratford, St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, St. John’s Orthodox Church, St. James Roman Catholic Church, St. Joseph’s National Catholic Church, First Congregational Church of Stratford, First Baptist Church of Stratford, Stratford United Methodist Church, Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Lordship Community Church, Trinity Episcopal Church of Trumbull and Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church.
