Bridge replacement in West Haven begins

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — As work continues on the big bridge project over the Quinnipiac River in New Haven, another project gets started tonight.

This project will deal with replacing the West River Bridge between New Haven and West Haven.

Lanes will be narrowed, and drivers will notice lane closures during the overnight hours.

The project is scheduled to be finished in 2018.
