2 seriously injured in motorcycle accident

MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– A 50-year-old man was left with life threatening injuries after a motorcycle accident closed down both sides of I-95 Saturday.

Police say a 2004 Harley Davidson traveling eastbound on BPT Avenue was attempting to turn left on I-95 at exit 34 when a car traveling westbound struck the motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle, James Francis Lynch, suffered life threatening injuries and was transported to Bridgeport Hospital.

A passenger, Lisa Mariotti, 43, was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital for serious injuries.

The two others involved in the crash, Devante Teel and Jonathan Naval, both 18, were treated and released from hospitals.

The accident is under investigation.
