Man killed in Vernon moped crash

VERNON, Conn. (WTNH)– A 19-year-old man was killed in a moped accident in Vernon on Sunday night.

Police say they found the driver of the moped, Everett Cramer, unresponsive on Mountain Street around 10 PM.

An investigation revealed that Cramer struck a parked and unoccupied Subaru Impreza with his moped.

Cramer was transported to Rockville Hospital after officers attempted to resuscitate him. He was then pronounced dead at the hospital.

The accident is under investigation.
