Book Lover’s Corner: ‘Wilhelmina Goes Wandering’

WTNH– Author John-Manuel Andriote discuss his new illustrated children’s book ‘Wilhelmina Goes Wandering’ which is based on the true story of the “talk-of-the-town” runaway Black Angus cow in Milford in 2011.

The morals of the story are learning to accept our own and others’ differences, and discovering that sometimes we have to leave our familiar pasture to find our true home.

This is Andriote’s first children’s book, though not his first book. Earlier nonfiction books focused on the AIDS epidemic and disco/dance music.
