VIDEO: Seals released into wild after stay at Mystic

CHARLESTOWN, R.I. (WTNH) — Blue Shutters beach was the last stop Thursday for three seals that were nursed back to health at Mystic Aquarium.

“We always love when our patients are healthy again,” says veterinarian Ally McNaughton. “And in this situation when it’s with a wild animal and they’re healthy enough to go back to the ocean and go back to the ecosystem, it is a huge accomplishment and it’s a really great feeling to see them go.”
