Woman gets permanent tribute to Barbara Walters on leg

Barbara Tattoo

New Orleans, LA. (WTNH) — Barbara Walters retires Friday, and the day is expected to be filled with star-studded tributes to the news legend.

But, a Louisiana decided to honor the TV icon in a different way.

Liz Dodd took a head shot of Walters to a tattoo artist to get it permanently put on her leg. She said she did it because Walters’ face is a symbol of empowerment to all women.

Dodd asked the tattoo artist to make it look as authentic as possible. We’re told she was pleased with the results.
