Katharine Hepburn Exhibit

WTNH– Karen DePauw from the Connecticut Historical Society talks about the exhibit Katharine Hepburn: Dressed for Stage and Screen: April 11-Sept 13.

The reason for bringing the exhibit to CHS was because Hepburn was from Hartford and rose to become a movie starlet; she stayed rooted in Connecticut throughout her film and theater career.

Upcoming events are May 28th Katharine Hepburn’s Hollywood Career with Jeanine Basinger, an overview of Katharine Hepburn’s extraordinary career in film, and June 14th Katharine Hepburn Film Festival, day-long celebration of Katharine Hepburn’s achievement on the silver screen.

Connecticut Historical Society is located One Elizabeth Street, Hartford.  For more information, call (860) 236-5621 or go to www.CHS.org/Hepburn.
