2 injured in Hamden school bus crash

HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH)– A student and a motorist were taken to the hospital after a car collided with the back of a school bus in Hamden, Monday morning.

Police say the collision happened on Goodrish Street near Dixwell Avenue.

New Haven Public Schools says the driver of the car and one high school student on the bus were transported to hospital, but were told that it sounded very minor.

The bus was traveling to New Haven Academy. The rest of the students were picked up and taken to school.

The front of the car was reportedly seriously damaged.

The crash is under investigation.
