BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) — A 30-year-old is under arrest for a disturbance in Bridgeport after trying to cash a lottery ticket.

It happened Monday evening at the SK Grocery Store on Fairfield Ave.

The suspect, Kahraman Asad, purchased a scratch-off lottery ticket and when he won $10 went back inside to cash it in. When the employee told Asad he would have to wait until another customer was done at the lottery machine, Asad began throwing things at the counter.

He was issued a citation for threatening and criminal trespass.
