Mobile App Lets you Register to Vote

Connecticut voter registration app in the Google Play store.

Conn. (WTNH) — Secretary of State Denise Merrill announced that mobile applications are now available for eligible Connecticut citizens who wish to register to vote online using a smartphone or tablet.

Since its been announced, more than 2,000 Connecticut voters have used the system to become new registered voters or change their existing registration.

The application is available through Google Play and Apple.

Connecticut became the 15th state to offer online voter registration.
