HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Police responding to a report of a domestic dispute Friday morning found two marijuana plants — as well as two assault-style weapons — inside a fourth floor apartment on Huntington Street.

Police identified 19-year-olds Jahvon Thompson and Cynthia Sanchez as the individuals involved in the alleged dispute this morning at 41 Huntington St.

Both sustained minor injuries, apparently from fighting with each other, police said.

Police said Thompson faces two assault weapons charges, in addition to drug and domestic violence charges. Sanchez, who was arrested last November on weapons charges, will be charged with third-degree assault, police said.
