Police: Mover stole $60K ring

GLASTONBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — An East Hartford man was arrested last week for allegedly stealing a ring worth $60,000 while employed as a mover at a Glastonbury home on April 5, police said.

Twenty-nine-year-old Benjamin Ingram was charged with first-degree larceny after police said he was located May 21 in a parking lot in Manchester.

Ingram continues to be held on $100,000 bond, according to online court documents. The East Hartford man’s next court date is scheduled for June 26.

The accused had worked for an area moving company, police said.
