Stratford pizza joint held up at gunpoint

STRATFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Police say a man got away with about $100 in cash after a holdup at Lordship Pizza about 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The man is described as a black male with a stocky build. Police say he displayed a silver handgun, demanded money, then fled in a car. No one was hurt in the incident.

Police could not provide a description of the vehicle. Lordship Pizza is located at 346 Stratford Road.
