Bomb threat evacuates 7th Bristol school this week

BRISTOL. Conn. (WTNH)– The Edgewood School in Bristol was evacuated due to a bomb threat.

This is the 7th school to be evacuated by a bomb threat this week.

The school says a note was found in the bathroom.

All students and faculty left the building but stayed on site.

Bristol Superintendent’s Office says the school was then searched and nothing was found.

Students and staff are now back inside the school.

Afternoon kindergarten will happen as usual.

Bristol police arrested a 13-year-old student on felony charges yesterday for one of the six bomb threats this week.
