Missing man found injured in New London

NEW LONDON, Conn. (WTNH) — A Waterford man who was reported missing was found hurt and unresponsive in a New London home.

Police found the 21-year-old victim on West Coit Street. His parents apparently knew he would be there and asked police to do a wellness check.

A resident of the home told police the man was there. Police found him with several bruises on his face and body. They do not believe the assault happened at the West Coit Street home
