Enfield man injured in Rt. 5 tree crash

ENFIELD, Conn. (WTNH)– An Enfield man was injured after his car struck a tree on Rt. 5 early Sunday.

Enfield police responded to the crash on Rt. 5 near the intersection of Post Office Road around 1:11 AM.

The driver, 25-year-old Robert Albert, was transported to St. Francis Hospital by ambulance after his car left the road and struck a tree.

The extent of his injuries are unknown at this time.

The crash is currently under investigation.
