Officials: 5 stores sold booze to minors

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)- According to the Department of Consumer Protection, five package stores in Milford sold alcohol to minors over the weekend.

On Saturday, June 7, undercover officers and youth volunteers went into 30 package stores and grocery stores that sell beer.

Officials say 5 stores sold to the underage volunteer.

The five stores are, Super Stop and Shop at 855 Bridgeport Avenue, EXPECT at 480 Boston Post Road, Mike’s Package Store at 748 Boston Post Road, Loading Dock Wine & Spirits at 1429-B Boston Post Road, and Woodmont Package Store, 1548 New Haven Avenue.

Those five stores will have an administrative hearing with the Liquor Control Commission.
