Dolson’s White House stumble

WASHIGNTON (WTNH) — There’s just something about UConn basketball player Stefanie Dolson and the White House.

After a ceremony in Washington Monday honoring the dual NCAA basketball champion Huskies, Dolson slipped off the risers where the teams were standing.

An embarassed Dolson ducked briefly behind her teammates, then came out and got a friendly hug and handshake from President Obama. She then gave a curtsy, which drew a chuckle from the crowd.

Last year, it was Dolson who was caught on camera giving the president ‘bunny ears’ during a ceremony for the Huskies.

Dolson was drafted by the WNBA’s Washington Mystics.
