BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH)- Police arrested 21-year-old Javon Oden of Bridgeport for allegedly robbing a co-worker at gunpoint.

Police say Oden and the victim work together at a business in Westport.

Police say Oden lured the victim to Bridgeport, saying he would sell him auto parts for $800. Police say when the two met after midnight on Sunday, Oden took the cash, and then, at gunpoint, told the victim to get out of the car. Police say the victim refused, and a second male pulled the victim out of the car, where he was pistol whipped.

Oden is charged with firs-degree robbery, first-degree assault and conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery.
