Police Look For Pizzeria Burglar

Plainfield, Conn. (WTNH) – Police in Plainfield are looking for the man who broke into Zoe’s Pizza on Putnam Road in Wauregan.

The burglar broke a window in a door in order to gain access on Monday night after the restaurant had closed and employees had gone home.

He stole the cash drawer, and went out through the door he had smashed. His image was caught by infared surveillance camera. He was last seen, on foot, headed southbound on Putnam Road.  Police say he may have had a car waiting nearby.

The burglar is described as a white male, medium to heavy build, wearing a baseball hat, long-sleeved shirt, jeans, and possibly boots.
