ConnDOT postpones Route 34 exit shift

ConnDOT rendering of the new location of the Exit 47 to Route 34 in New Haven.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — The Connecticut Department of Transportation has postponed tonight’s planned exit change to Route 34 from I-95 southbound.

Exit 47 was to be moved further to the south so demolition and rebuilding work can continue on the new southbound lanes of the Pearl Harbor Memorial / Q-Bridge.

Weather forced the postponement.
