Police make arrest in city’s first homicide of 2014

STAMFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Police in Stamford have made an arrest in the city’s first homicide of the year.

On June 12, they arrested 20-year-old Andre Quinn Russell for the shooting death of 46-year-old William James.

James was found earlier this week suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.  He was quickly transported to Stamford hospital where he was pronounced dead.
