BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) — A Weston couple is accused of breaking into storage facilities in Weston and Bridgeport and police say they are suspects in the theft of hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of goods in burglaries across southwestern Connecticut.
Thirty-three year old Kathleen Falcone and 38-year-old Joshua Bammen face charges of larceny, burglary and criminal mischief after their arrests earlier this week.
Police tell the Connecticut Post the pair was spotted on surveillance video after a pair of break-ins at the U-Haul Moving and Storage in Bridgeport.
Police say the couple also are suspects in break-ins Fairfield, Easton, Westport, Redding, Wilton and Weston.
Police say the items taken in Bridgeport included eight guns, three Japanese swords, and numerous antiques.
Balcone and Bammen each are being held on $300,000 bonds.
