Deadly weekend in Hartford

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A victim is in critical condition after a shooting late Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Albany Avenue and Oakland Terrace in Hartford.

Deputy police chief Brian Foley says on his Twitter page that authorities are looking for a newer edition black Toyota Corolla with Pennsylvania plates.

The victim, 25-year-old Jonathan Weaver, of Hartford, sustained a serious gunshot wound to his neck.

Earlier Saturday, a man was gunned down at South Green Park in Hartford. The victim’s name of that shooting is Huberto O’Neil, 34, of Hartford.

Police have indicated the shooting could be gang-related.

Neighbors are on edge.

No arrests have been in either case.
