DARIEN, Conn. (WTNH)– Former New York news anchor Robert Morrison was arrested Monday in Darien, for harassing his wife and violating a protective order.

Police say at around 6 PM, 46-year-old Morrison, of Stamford, turned himself into Darien police on an arrest warrant. The warrant alleges that Morrison violated a court order by placing over 100 calls to his wife’s home and to her cell phone over the course of several days in May.

Morrison and his wife have been arrested before in a domestic violence incident.

Morrison was charged with criminal violation of a protective order and harassment. He was released after posting $50,000 bond.
