Woman assaulted in burglary

PLAINVILLE, Conn. (WTNH)- Plainville Police need the public’s help finding a man that assaulted a woman while robbing her home.

On May 19, 2014 at about 6:00pm a male resembling the sketch attached, burglarized a home on Burnside Avenue in Plainville.

The female victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the assault.

Police describe the suspect as: a white male with a dark, tanned complexion. He is believed to be in his
fifties; about six feet tall with an average build. He had “unkempt” brown and gray medium length wavy
hair. He had a long, unkempt brown and gray beard that extended past his chin. He was wearing a green
button-down shirt and khaki pants. His clothes were described as baggy and over-sized for his body.
