Three killed in horrific crash identified

BOZRAH, Conn. (WTNH) — The three men killed in a single motor vehicle accident in Bozrah early Thursday morning have been identified.

Bozrah Police report that the accident occurred on Rooute 82 (Salem Turnpike) near Nobel Hill Road around 1 a.m.

Police say 19-year-old Terence Garland of Norwich, 23-year-old Kenneth Barki of taftville, and 22-year-old Jesse Robinson of Uncasville died after the 1995 Mitsubishi 3000gt sports car they were in left the roadway and struck some trees. The car broke into pieces.

Authorities say two of the victims were ejected from the vehicle.

The car is registered to Ellen Robinson of Uncasville.

The road was closed for several hours as authorities investigated the crash, and removed the twisted wreckage of the car. The road was back open a little before 7:30 a.m.
