Two busted on heroin charges

SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) — Authorities working undercover bust two suspected heroin dealers.

According to police, during the operation Abdullah Melhem and Ammad Khan were taken into custody after selling heroin to an undercover police officer. Melhem attempted to run from police, but was chased down and arrested. Meanwhile Khan was taken into custody without incident.

Police said 201 baggies of heroin were taken from the suspects.

Melhem is being held on $200,000 bond while Khan is being held on $100,000 bond.
