HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — It became a violent night at a Hartford nightclub last night, when two people were stabbed around closing time, according to police.

Police were dispatched to 130 New Britain Avenue on a report of a party down. Apparently a large crowd was observed in the street.

The first stabbing victim was located in the parking lot of 129 New Britain Ave. The woman was found with a serious stab wound to the abdomen.

Early police reports described the woman as having been “eviscerated”.  The victim was in shock and could not explain what had happened.

There were broken Corona beer bottles in the driveway and in the street.

Hartford Police provided first aid until Aetna Ambulance arrived.

The second victim was located with a minor stab wound to the abdomen.

He was approached by 8 males after exiting Las Garzas nightclub. The victim said one of them said to him, “You think we gonna forget what happened last week.”

The victim told police that they started beat him up, kicking and punching him on the ground.

Both victims were transported to Hartford Hospital and taken straight into surgery.

They are both currently listed in stable condition.

Major Crimes Detectives are investigating.
