Man attacked at bus stop dies

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Two men could face additional charges after a man they are accused of assaulting at a bus stop died.

The victim, Francisco Ray, died at Yale-New Haven Hospital Thursday. He was assaulted at the bus stop at Chapel and Orange Streets on May 30.

New Haven police arrested Todd Traver and Christopher Lavigne on assault charges after the incident, and are being held on #500,000 bonds.

An autopsy will be conducted on Ray, and Traver and Lavigne could face additional charges based on the autopsy results, New Haven police said.
