Looking to ID pair of robbers

BROOKLYN, Conn. (WTNH) — State police released surveillance photos Friday in hopes of identifying two men who robbed a gas station on Route 6.

Chucky’s on Providence Road / Route 6 in Brooklyn, Connecticut, was robbed just before midnight on May 29.

“One suspect grabbed the cashier from behind and placed a metal object to his neck and demanded money which the victim turned over to the other suspect upon opening the cash register,” said Sgt. Erik Costa of Troop D.

The two robbers then ran off.

Troopers searched the area that night with canine units, but so far the robbers have not been found.

Police say they are looking for two black men, 5’07” to 6’00”, with medium builds. One was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with dark colored jeans. The other was wearing a light colored hoodie, jean shirt and white sneakers.
