EAST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH)- An East Haven man was arrested after police say he grabbed a machete while police were trying to talk with him.

Police say they got a harassment complaint just after 10 on June 24. Officers learned the offender was 48-year-old Langdon Johnson.

Johnson already had four PRAWN warrants out for his arrest.

Police say when they went to Johnson’s house he went into another room and got a machete. Police say they ordered Johnson to drop the machete, but he wouldn’t, so police used a taser on him and took him into custody.

Johnson is charged with breach of peace, and interfering with an officer.
