How to stay safe on the roads this summer

Heading on a road trip this summer? Well before you gas up and hit the open road, you’ll want to keep in mind a few things to make sure you are safe out there.

According to the National Highway Traffic Administration, August is the month with the most number of accidents on the roads, and Saturdays more than any other day.

Tim Parker from New Country Motor Cars joined Good Morning Connecticut to talk about road safety.
