Second Person Dies After Crash in Manchester

Manchester, Conn. (WTNH) – A second person has died from injuries suffered in a one-car crash more than a week ago.

Shelton Johnson, 23, died from his injuries late Sunday night. The crash happened back on June 19th on East Center Street at Holl Street.  Police say Johnson was the passenger in a car driver by Aqwan Hall, 26.  Hall died at the scene.  Johnson was rushed to Hartford Hospital, and was treated at the Bridgeport Burn Center, but never recovered.

Police say speed was a factor in the crash.  The two victims were the only one in the vehicle.  No one else was hurt.
