BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH)– Bridgeport police are looking for the man who stabbed another man for not providing him with cigarettes or money Tuesday night.
Police say the 35-year-old man was in the area of Harral Avenue and James Street when a man walked up to him and asked him for a cigarette. The victim told police he said he had no cigarettes so the suspect then asked him for money.
When the victim replied he had no money, the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the upper chest and leg.
He was treated at Saint Vincent’s Hospital and his injuries are non-life threatening.
