Man starts campaign to help make potato salad

Columus, Ohio (WTNH) — A man who wanted to make potato salad for the first time is soliciting help from the public in a unique way.

Zack Brown started a fundraising page on Kickstarter because he decided he didn’t want to risk the 10 dollars to buy ingredients.

He’s already raised more than $58,000, and he still has 24 days to go in his campaign. So far, more than 4,500 people are backing his page.

Brown is now promising to rent a party hall and invite people to a potato salad party.

There’s a “Risks” section on his page that reads, “It might not be that good. It’s my first potato salad.”
