SHELTON, Conn. (WTNH)–A reward of $50,000 is now being offered for information leading to an arrest in the killing of 15-year old Kristjan Ndoj.
It has been nearly four months since the Shelton teen was shot and killed in the driveway of a friend’s home. Initially, investigators believed the shots came from a wooded area. Family members said Kristjan had been threatened days before.
Police wouldn’t say if they had a person of interest, but said they were close on this case. They had collected a lot of information and evidence, but said they needed once more piece to make an arrest.
“We’re again reaching out to the public, imploring anyone with information to come forward to help us bring closure to the family,” State Police Lieutenant Paul Vance said.
Vance wouldn’t release many details about the case, but did say that rewards are not offered with every case, only in those they feel confident it would incentivize someone to come forward.
Anyone with information is asked to call state police.
