HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– The suspect in a 2013 shooting investigation in Hartford who was arrested has had all his charges dropped as they relate to the case.
According to Hartford Superior Court, Deshawn Jennings’ case was nullified on November 14, 2014.
On March 8th 2013, police responded to reports of a person being shot on Sisson Avenue in Hartford. When they arrived, they found a victim suffering from a gunshot would to his stomach. He has since recovered, but has life altering injuries.
The shooting occurred during an attempted robbery, when the victim left the Professional Barber Shop.
On July 11th, the suspect, Deshawn Jennings, was arrested. He was being held on $750,000 bond and faced multiple charges, including Robbery 1st degree, Assault 1st degree, and Criminal Possession of a Firearm, all of which have since been dropped.
