Man stabbed in Bristol car wash robbery

BRISTOL, Conn. (WTNH)– A 57-year-old man was stabbed during a robbery at a Bristol car wash Saturday afternoon.

Police say they spoke with the victim around 3:30 PM, at Bristol Hospital Emergency Room where he stated he was robbed at knife at Mr. Bubbles Car Wash at 135 East Main Street.

He told police he was next to the dumpster emptying rubbish out of his car when he was attacked by two, 6 foot tall, white males.

One of the suspects had a knife and during the struggle the victim said he was cut in the left forearm.

The man suffered lacerations to his left forearm which appeared to have been caused by an edged weapon or sharp object, police said.

The suspects took the victim’s wallet, personal papers and an undetermined amount of cash.

The incident is under investigation and there are no suspects at this time.
