Police investigate vandalism in Vernon


VERNON, Conn. (WTNH) — Vernon Police are investigating are receiving multiple reports of vandalism that occurred overnight.

Police were alerted Sunday morning that several houses, cars, and mail boxes had been spray painted and other houses and cars had eggs thrown at them overnight.

Officers responded to the area and interviewed witnesses. The damage appears to have occurred between the hours of midnight and 3 am, according to police.

The suspects have been described as two young white males of average height and build. Witnesses estimated the suspects to be between the ages of 13 and 16.
