Clinton native Colleen Alexander thanks heroes for saving life after being hit by 30-ton truck

Clinton native Colleen Kelly Alexander says it is because of heroes that she is alive today.

In the fall of 2011, she was riding her bicycle when she was run over by a 30-ton freight truck. After a five-week coma and 20 surgeries more to come, she is trying to motivate others to enjoy the life they have after fighting for hers.

A reminder of those heroes is on her arm.
