Pedestrian struck, killed in Cheshire

CHESHIRE, Conn. (WTNH)– A road is Cheshire will be closed for several hours after a pedestrian was killed Monday afternoon.

The accident happened on Mt. Sanford Road. The entire length of the road will be closed for the investigation.

Officers are expecting the road to be closed for approximately three hours. Detours will be set up on both sides of the scene to move traffic.

The identity of the pedestrian is unknown at this time.
