NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) All the rain we’ve had over the past couple of days increased the risk of bacteria contamination in the water.
As a result, some beaches were closed.
But now News 8 is hearing that some of those spots are back open. The sandy spots in Stratford and Westport are just two of those that are open again.
That beach report information is still coming in. For the very latest information before you head to your favorite beach… head to our website at WTNH.com.
According to the latest information from the Department of Energy & Environmental Protection, Burr Pond and Mashamoquet Brook State Park are closed.
