Special election in three towns Tuesday

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)- Governor Malloy announced today when special elections for a vacant state representative seat will be held.

There is an open seat for the State House of Representatives serving the 122nd Assembly District. It covers parts of Shelton, Stratford and Trumbull.

The election will be held on Tuesday, July 22.

The seat was filled by State Representative, Lawrence G. Miller, who passed away on June 1.
