Norwalk police respond to standoff


NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) — A Norwalk resident is being evaluated at the hospital after a standoff with police.

It happened yesterday afternoon on West Rocks Road. Police say they got a call about someone threatening to shoot themselves. The person was taken into protective custody without anyone being hurt. He or she was brought to the hospital.

No charges have been filed, the incident is still being investigated.
