Neighbors knocked on doors to wake everyone up and get them outside.

A woman who lives on the second floor of the building told News 8 she has lost everything. She wasn’t home at the time, but returned to see the building in flames.

Wethersfield Ave. was closed in the immediate area for a few hours because of the firefighting activity, but is now back open.
