Arrest made after man robbed, beaten outside liquor store


Bristol, Conn. (WTNH) – Bristol Police arrested a man Wednesday night, for allegedly assaulting another man outside a liquor store on Tuesday.

    Police say Kevin Whittingham, 22, from Bristol, punched a man outside the K&S Liquors store on Park Street about 8pm Tuesday.  The victim, a man in his 50’s, was punched in the face, beaten, and robbed.  Police investigating an unrelated crime the next day, say they saw Whittingham, and remembered his description. Whittingham was arrested, and is facing numerous charges.  The victim suffered broken bones in his face.  He is being treated at a hospital on Hartford.
