Suspected bank robber caught at motel

NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH)- Today Norwalk Police arrested 32-year-old Isaiah Gary at a motel for robbing of First County Bank back on July 17, 2014.

An officer from the Special Services Division received information that Gary was in a vehicle at the Norwalk Westport Motel. Officers responded to that location and located Gary, who attempted to run from cops by climbing onto the roof of the motel. Gary was taken into custody moments later without further incident.

Gary was charged with Robbery 1st and Larceny 2nd and held on a court set bond of $200,000.00. Gary was issued a court date of July 31, 2014 however if he does not post bond he will be arraigned at the Norwalk Courthouse on July 24, 2014.
