Family of 5 needs help after Bridgeport fire

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) — A family of five is being helped by the American Red Cross after losing everything to a fire. It happened on Central Avenue in Bridgeport yesterday morning.

The one adult and four children were not hurt, but need housing, food, baby goods, and more. The Red Cross says, it’s also providing “comfort kits” which contain personal care items like toothbrushes and shaving supplies.
